Leisure Outdoor Adventures Guide Service (LOA) is a world class fishing guide service headquartered in Minnesota, the home of Paul Bunyan and the Land of 10,000 Lakes. We are Leech Lake, Cass Lake, Lake Vermillion, and Brainerd lakes guide services that encompass all of northern Minnesota's natural resources and beyond. At LOA, we are serious about the outdoors and we want to share our experiences with you through the web, in the woods, or on the water. Jeff Andersen and Toby Kvalevog teamed up to form LEISURE OUTDOOR ADVENTURES. Toby and Jeff have shared the same passion for over three decades; Hunting, Fishing, and Family. Our guide team’s fishing credentials speaks for itself with over 30 first place finishes across the country in fishing tournaments of all sizes. Leisure Outdoor Adventures guide team has handcrafted its skills in guiding for decades. Leisure Outdoor Adventures will facilitate all fishing package requests, and make sure you have the right guide(s) for your needs.

Our online booking is super easy! Simply pick your lake, your guide, the date and type of fish. Our expert guides will get you on the fish making amazing memories!

We suggest if you have a younger child 5 years or less and they have a life jacket you prefer them to wear that they bring it along.
Sunscreen

Your guide will handle everything that is fishing related for your fishing adventure. You will be using the finest fishing gear and be fishing out of the nicest boats. All bait, ice, fishing cleaning, and gas is taken care of by the fishing guide.

Your guide will call you 24-36 hours before your trip and arrange the location to meet him. If you are staying on the lake we will almost always arrange to pick you up at the docks and head out from there. If wind is a factor or the guide feels another part of the lake or a different lake is a better option he will arrange that with you.

This really varies on the lake. Depending on where you are wanting to fish, that will dictate the seasonal patterns. When booking your trip, you can get the up to date report as well as what things are looking like. Just remember, typically the fish are always biting somewhere!

In the event of inclement weather, you and your guide will have the final say. More often than not we are able to move the trip around during the day or sit out the storm if we need to in order to finish our fishing trip with you. In the event we have to cancel because of inclement weather, you will not be charged for that trip. If you are staying for a longer period of time, we also encourage clients to reschedule their trip so they can get out on the water. Our guides are excellent when dealing with these conditions and we always make sure our customers feel safe and comfortable.

Absolutely! Clients can keep fish and your guide will fillet and package them for you.

We will fish most anything that swims and that you want to chase. We encourage to communicate what you are looking to do when booking your trip.

My son and I have been fishing with Brainerd Lakes Area fishing guide Tim Hanske for several years. Tim has guided us successfully on many different lakes, both open water and ice fishing for Walleyes, Crappies, and Sunfish. He is often spot on figuring out what lake to hit, where the fish, are and a how to put them in the boat. We have had amazing days and days when the fish don't want to bite, but despite what the fish are doing there is always one guarantee, it’s always a day of laughs, learning and good clean fun.
