Learn Your Electronics While You Fish

Turn your time on the water into a learning experience. Our guided fishing trips are designed not just to catch fish—but to help you master your electronics so you can confidently find and catch fish on your own. We offer you the chance to book one of our guides who specializes in learning your fishing electronics.

What Makes This Trip Different?

Most guided trips focus only on catching fish. We go further. You’ll learn how to actually use your sonar, GPS, and mapping tools in real-world conditions—so you’re not guessing next time you’re out. We will help you with Humminbird, Lowrance, as well as Garmin Electronics. These trips are designed to hop in your boat and help you set up your electronics and learn how to use it effectively along with boat control and other aspects that go along with it.

What You Can Expect

  • A full or half-day guided trip within your boat, unless you want it to be in the guide’s boat to look at and use his electronics.
  • Hands-on instruction (not just watching)
  • Personalized coaching on your exact unit (bring your own or use ours)
  • A relaxed, no-pressure learning environment
  • Yes—you’ll still catch fish while learning

Who This Is For

  • Anglers who feel overwhelmed by their electronics
  • Anyone who owns sonar/GPS but isn’t using it to its full potential
  • Beginners who want to start the right way
  • Experienced anglers looking to level up

Locations

Our guide team is primarily based on Lake Vermilion, Leech Lake, Mille Lacs, Cass Lake, Hackensack Area, as well as the Brainerd Lakes Area.
