With the cooler weather and lots of rain, the best bite for numbers has remained in and around the deep holes on the east end of the lake. Dragging a lindy rig with a rainbow minnow or a jumbo leech have been the top two presentations. The best and most fish seem to be hanging around the top edges of these holes in 15-25 feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For bigger fish, there are two different <\/a>patterns that are really starting to kick in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The shallow rock bite. Expect this bite to kick in by this weekend with the warm sunny days the rest of this week. Soak a slip-bobber and a leech on a rock pile in 4-15 feet and wait for it to drop!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Weed-line Walleyes. Yes, there are weeds on this lake! Pitching weed edges in 6-15 feet with a jig\/minnow, slip-bobber and a leech, jigging rap, or Lindy Rigging along the edge can all result in some great bites!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
